Michael Salas

The Government of Costa Rica has extended the closure of land borders until April 1st, 2021, as part of the measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19. This new decree authorizes only Costa Ricans or legal residents to use the land route to enter Costa Rica, although whoever does will receive a health order for 14 days.

Tourists and all those who have received the appointment for immigration filings or it is already being analyzed, must exclusively enter the country by air.
